Research Behind Embodied Sound®

Embodied Sound® was invented from PhD research in multimodal composition. It is a software-defined hardware system that uses a patented method to transform everyday materials into full-frequency sound emitters (7–5,000 Hz tactile, 80–17,000 Hz acoustic). By calibrating vibrations to the physical properties of each surface, Embodied Sound® seamlessly delivers synchronized tactile and acoustic audio from a single source. The result is a multi-modal experience that’s immersive, precise, and spatially customizable—without relying on traditional loudspeakers.
